Of course I didn't read the instructions properly and was wondering why my shirring was not working. I forgot to change the stitch length to 5mm. After much frustration, I abandoned the dream of a shirred top, and embraced the ruffle top instead.
Sarah liked it anyway and was happy to model it for the camera.

I think the ruffle top looks beautiful on Sarah. Now that you've got the instructions under control, why don't you make a shirred on as well.

I can't believe how much Sarah has grown!!! The top looks great Jo. I can't even sew a button on a shirt properly, so I have much admiration for people who can really sew! Missing you guys heaps. Amy xxx
