The entry is not a very lady-like affair.
It seems I have nothing to blog about other than my children's holiday fun.
This may be because I am ignoring the other parts of my life.
Dave left for Melbourne this morning for 5 nights!.
I have an essay to write on Sonnet 55, current word count, zero.
On a brighter note, my SIL and I are hosting a dinner party tonight. I am making Nigella's Chocolate Orange Cake for dessert. At the moment I have whole oranges boiling on the stove and the house smells divine................

Looks like the kids are having a great time in the school holidays!
Not having Dave there for 5 nights will be tough, but it sounds like you've got heaps to do while he's away.
Hope the dinner party went well - looking forward to hearing all about it (and maybe seeing some photos, especially of the finished Chocolate Orange Cake)
