Contemplating........

Dave is in NZ, the kids are all asleep, and I am left to contemplate some big decisions (while waiting for my Bengali Chai to steep).

Why am I feeling so uninspired about Uni at the moment, amongst other things?

There is a lady in my course with 5 children (that she homeschools), a sick husband and she is doing 3 subjects!! What have I got to feel stressed about?

I would love to stay home all day making things like this.

I am not sure if its the weather or the stars or the moon or something but I am feeling pretty uninspired too. You do have a lot on your plate - I have one small child and could not contemplate studying at this time. I can barely get the hoovering done let alone find the time and energy needed study at that level.

Perhaps you just need that holiday to HK to come a little sooner. I will send you some great shopping locations later!

Jo... is it because you want to teach, but you are not learning how to teach yet. I felt completely like you toward the end of last year (end of second year, and end of General Studies component, really) but this year... wow! Inspiration and motivation is back with a vengeance. Not that it is going to help you this semester, but maybe next semester trying to put some of the Education subjects in there somewhere might help... Or alternatively, it's because you don't really want to study... maybe not studying is then the best option... Not sure. Not much help am I?

The quilts are so beautiful. I can understand why you would want to stay home and create something like this. Why not take a break from your studies until you feel inspired to continue.

Love, Nana Jan.

P.S. The Bengali Chai looks good.

Thanks Rach, I would love those shopping tips!! And don't worry about that hoovering, it can wait. I actually found that I got more more done once the 2nd child came along.....
Jen, I don't know what it is exactly, maybe boredom??? So glad to hear you are feeling inspired. You are my inspiration when I think I have too much on my plate.

Gorgeous quilt! I'd love to learn to quilt and then actually have time to do it ; )

Jo... feeling any inspiration yet? How's it going now? What subjects did you keep?...

Thanks Jen, yes I am feeling a bit more inspired. I nearly deferred the semester at one stage, but have decided to tough it out. Hope all your study is going OK. Jo
